Everything You Need to Know about Tyvek Wristbands 1"
The 1" Tyvek wristband is the wider version of our best-selling identification band. Made from polyethylene fibers pressed into a paper-like material, Tyvek looks and feels like paper but performs like plastic — fully waterproof, strong, tear-resistant and non-stretch, yet light and comfortable for all-day wear. The extra width gives you more room for logos and text and makes wristbands easier to check at a glance. A strong adhesive closure with tamper-proof security cuts makes them impossible to remove in one piece or pass to another person. Each band measures 25 cm (10") long and 2.5 cm (1") wide.

Serial numbers: every Tyvek and Laser wristband carries a unique pre-printed number — no two bands in your order are alike. Sequential numbering is not applied by default; if you need it, note your preferred series in the order comments. Two formats are available:
- Hundreds: XYZ001–XYZ500 (e.g. 578001–578500), where XYZ are 3 randomly assigned digits
- Thousands: XY0001–XY1000 (e.g. 570001–571000), where XY are 2 randomly assigned digits
The leading digits are random and cannot be chosen; you may request a specific sub-range within a series. Without a note at checkout, sequential numbering cannot be guaranteed.

Artwork & file requirements
- Best quality — vector files: .cdr, .pdf, .ai or .eps
- High-resolution bitmaps are also fine: .jpg, .tif, .psd
- Convert text to curves, or include the fonts you used
Print colors
Each print uses a single ink color — black, silver or gold. If your order includes several wristband colors, each color can have its own print color and design — for example: black print on red bands, silver on yellow, and gold on black.
Where your print goes
Once the wristband is fastened, the adhesive end overlaps and is hidden. Keep the important parts of your design within the visible print area — about 14 cm from the left. Use the template below when preparing your artwork.
